For everyday maintenance, you only need to vacuum or dry mop the floor. Occasionally, clean with a damp, well wrung cloth. Most marks are easy to remove with mild cleaners, however, this should only be used as a spot cleaner.
Lacquered floors are largely maintenance-free for the first 10 - 20 years. Floors with a 6mm wear layer can be restored, followed by your preferred surface treatment.
UV-oiled floors are as easy to look after as lacquered floors. Vacuum or dry mop routinely and clean with a damp cloth when necessary. After extended or hard wear, treat with Oil Refresher.
With all oiled floors, Forest Floor (UK) Ltd. recommends that a finish coat of Hard Wax Oil be applied. This will give the floor a rich and lasting lustre.
Fit protective pads and caster cups wherever possible to furniture, to avoid any unnecessary marking and scratching.
Wood floors are protected by their surface finish to withstand most minor spills. Wipe any liquid up carefully straight away.
